You’ve heard the expression: "Some things improve with age." Dallas is one of those “things.”
Sir Dallas is a mature gentleman, and when we say gentleman, we mean it. He is a mellow guy and very respectful. Dallas is house- and crate-trained and knows the commands ‘sit’ and ‘kennel’. He gets along great with other dogs and would love to have a doggie sibling to hang out with. He doesn’t require much exercise but would love a walk on occasion. Dallas pulls slightly on his leash during his walks, but his foster mom tells us it’s very manageable.
Dallas is a 9-year-old, 60-pound Retriever/Poodle mix. He’s not yet been around kids, but with his mellow demeanor, we believe he would do just fine with respectable kiddos. This guy doesn’t have a favorite toy; ALL of them are his favorites. Dallas is easy to please.
Are you looking for a mature companion? One that won’t get into your things, that has many years of spunk left in him, and will happily lie on your lap and snuggle? If so, don’t let this distinguished guy get away. Dallas is neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and flea/tick/heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $175. To meet him, fill out an adoption application at PawsitiveTailsKC.org. Approved adopters will be contacted to schedule a meet-and-greet.
We believe Dallas is just about as perfect as they come, so go fill out that application before he charms his way into someone else’s heart.

Where are you located?
Pawsitive Tails does not have a physical location. All of our dogs live in loving foster homes throughout the Kansas City and Topeka area. This allows fosters to get to know each dog personally, so we can find the very best home for them.
What are your hours?
As a foster based rescue, every person with Pawsitive Tails is a volunteer. Because we do not have a facility, we do not have “open” hours but can be contacted between 8am and 9pm.
Can I stop in to visit dogs and play with puppies?
No. We require an approved application to be on file before meeting our dogs/puppies. In addition, our dogs live in foster homes, so we must work around the foster parents’ schedule.
