My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chili aka Chili Bean aka Mama Beans, is a gorgoues little 2 year young lady with bright green eyes and a ticked Abbysinian-esque coat. She is very dainty at just 8 1/2lbs with the sweetest chatty personality.

Once this young mama warms to her person, she is as endlessly devoted to them as she was to her kittens. This smart lady was so determined to keep nursing that she learned to open her gate latch—even after it was wrapped in Velcro! Her foster quickly pivoted to kitty onesies to help her wean without physical separation. Her cleaverness continues as she learns her human's habits, eagerly meeting for chats and playtime throughout the day. Her youthful personality shines as she plays solo, carrying toys while singing her joy, entering a room chirping for a playmate and purring robustly as she kneeds her way across a blanket and reaching out a dainty paw to ask for pets or leaning in nose-first for gentle kisses, including with the resident cats and dogs.

Chili remains devoted to her daughter Bingo, building her own trust in a new environment through Bingo's youthful bravery. Likely to thrive in a quiet to moderately social environment and sure to warm to anyone (including resident animals).. Having spent time outside in her own youth, she especially loves the foster's catio while making no attempts for the doors the resident dogs create ample time to escape through. Enjoying lots of toys, tunnels and climbing spaces Chili shows her gratitude for the calm consistency of indoor life.

Chili is bonded with her daughter Bingo and they must be adopted together.

All of our cats come spayed or neutered, microchipped, and with their initial age-appropriate vaccinations. The adoption fee for Chili and Bingo together is $281.25. If you would like to apply to be a forever home for this pair, please fill out a statement of interest at www.alternativehumanesociety.com. Unless otherwise indicated, all our cats and kittens are best suited for indoor-only life.
