Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Dee — the 9-month-old Aussie mix with a whole lot of puppy charm and a heart full of sweetness.
At around 40 lbs, Dee is the perfect medium-sized sidekick for all of life’s adventures.
Dee came to us from a shelter west of the metroplex and has wasted no time showing us just how special she is. She’s all puppy in the best ways — curious, playful, and soaking up the world — but she’s also incredibly trainable, eager to please, and deeply people-oriented.
Her foster reports she’s already mastered:
✨ Potty training (“outside” is her favorite word)
✨ Kennel training
✨ Sleeping quietly — in her kennel, in the room, or snuggled in bed
✨ Leash walking (and improving every day!)
✨ Sit + basic cues like “go lay down”
✨ Coming when called — even with free-roam time in the field
✨ Not jumping (she’s so close to perfection!)
Dee LOVES:
🐶 Other dogs
👧 Kids — she’s incredibly sweet and gentle with them
💛 Being close to her humans
🐾 Walks and outdoor exploring
🚗 Car rides, pup cups, and tagging along for adventures
🛋️ Cuddling — she’s a certified cuddle bug
She’s adaptable, confident in new places, and quick to settle. Whether it’s playtime, training time, or full-on snuggle mode, Dee is always happy to be part of whatever you’re doing.
Her foster says she’s going to be a hard goodbye — and we totally understand why.
If you’re looking for a young, affectionate, people-loving pup who’s smart, social, and ready to be your new best friend, Dee might be your girl.

After being approved by a team member, you'll be able to schedule a meet and greet with the pup that best matches your needs.
All of our pets are in private foster homes and many times the meeting will happen in a safe public location.
All animals are available to begin their home trials once the meeting has concluded and the rescue agrees to allow the pet to move forward to this stage.
