Honey – Yellow Female, 2 years, 65 lbs

Meet Honey — Your Valentine with Four Paws!

Looking for love this Valentine’s Day? Honey is ready to be your sweetheart. This 2-year-old female yellow Lab is as sweet as her name, with a heart as big as her smile and a personality that’s impossible not to love.

Honey is currently thriving in a foster home where she happily lives with three other dogs and does wonderfully with young children, even as young as 2 years old. She’s friendly, gentle, and gets along great with everyone she meets, making her a fantastic family companion. At night, Honey sleeps well in her crate and settles in easily, showing she’s comfortable with routine and structure.

She’s still polishing her manners, but Honey is eager to learn and truly wants to please. She knows how to sit, is working on her leash skills, and continues to improve every day. In fact, she’s so smart and adaptable that she taught herself how to use the doggie door on her very first day in her new foster home. Honey is food motivated, takes treats gently with her soft mouth, and has shown no signs of food aggression, making her a joy to train and work with.

When it comes to playtime, Honey enjoys grabbing a toy or ball and will happily play fetch, but she’s not overly ball-crazy. She has the perfect balance of playful energy and laid-back affection, and she’s just as happy soaking up cuddles, love, and quality time with her people.

If you’re searching for a loyal companion who will greet you with a wagging tail, a happy smile, and endless devotion, Honey might just be your perfect match.

This Valentine’s Day, give your heart to Honey—and let her give hers to you.  www.labrescuefresno.org
