My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you’re looking for a professional cuddler, look no further than Rudy!

Born in October, this handsome Husky mix is a gentle soul who isn't a huge fan of the paparazzi; he’d much rather you put the phone down so you can get back to snuggling. He is the ultimate movie night buddy and would love nothing more than to claim his spot on the couch right next to you. Plus, if you need someone to talk to, Rudy is an excellent listener who will happily carry on a conversation with you to discuss your day!

Rudy is a bright boy who has already mastered the doggy door at his foster home and knows exactly what to do when he hears the word "bedtime"—he heads right into his kennel like a pro! While he’s a star at home, he will need a little patient guidance to help him learn his leash manners when the time comes.

He gets along great with dogs and humans of all sizes, though we aren’t sure how he feels about cats just yet. Rudy is already microchipped, current on all his vaccinations, and has his neuter surgery on the books!

Please complete an adoption application at www.pathwaysforpaws.com. If he fits your family and lifestyle, you will be contacted within 48 hours.

Additional adoption info

In some circumstances, meeting the dog and a home check are done at the same time if the dog is ready to be adopted. We do have conversation with potential adopters prior to them meeting the dog. If they are interested in adopting a puppy who is not ready for adoption (not altered, not UTD, etc) they are able to put a hold on the pup until ready for adoption.

More about this rescue

Pathways for Paws was founded in October 2019. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, animal welfare organization.

Our mission is to make spay/neuter & vaccinations affordable to those in our communities. By achieving this, we will help prevent the neglect & abuse of dogs. All dogs in our care are spay/neutered, given the age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped before going to their FURever families.

We work with rescues & fellow animal advocates to continue growing a network of volunteers and supporters.
