My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ewok, the husky mix who is basically a professional comedian in a fur coat! Born in October, he is the ultimate cure-all for a long day. Just try to stay grumpy when you see his signature paw wave or watch him hop around like a total bunny through the yard! He’s a total crowd-pleaser who gets along wonderfully with humans and dogs of all sizes, though he’s still a mystery when it comes to cats. ‍

When it comes to house manners, Ewok is already ahead of the curve. He’s a total pro at sleeping in his kennel and is doing fantastic with his potty training routine. He’s still a bit of a work in progress on the leash , so he’ll need a patient partner to show him the way.

Ewok comes microchipped and current on his vaccines, with his neuter already scheduled. If you’re looking for a goofy, high-energy sidekick to brighten your world, Ewok is ready to hop right into your heart!

Additional adoption info

In some circumstances, meeting the dog and a home check are done at the same time if the dog is ready to be adopted. We do have conversation with potential adopters prior to them meeting the dog. If they are interested in adopting a puppy who is not ready for adoption (not altered, not UTD, etc) they are able to put a hold on the pup until ready for adoption.

More about this rescue

Pathways for Paws was founded in October 2019. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, animal welfare organization.

Our mission is to make spay/neuter & vaccinations affordable to those in our communities. By achieving this, we will help prevent the neglect & abuse of dogs. All dogs in our care are spay/neutered, given the age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped before going to their FURever families.

We work with rescues & fellow animal advocates to continue growing a network of volunteers and supporters.
