Tiger was brought in by their previous owner on January 18, 2026.

Tiger is the kind of cat who brings a quiet, comforting presence wherever he goes. Calm and gentle by nature, he loves lounging in sunny spots and watching the world with soft, curious eyes. Every so often, his playful side peeks out-usually in the form of a slow, sneaky pounce or a lazy swat at a toy-just enough to remind you there's a spark of mischief under all that chill. He's the perfect mix of peaceful companion and subtle goofball, making every day a little cozier just by being around.

Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.
