This helps San Diego Humane Society - Oceanside Campus (Dogs) with pet care costs.
How this pet arrived:
Koda was brought in by a community member on January 17, 2026.
Why Koda is the one for you:
Meet Koda -a lovable goofball powered by toys, treats, and a little bit of shy-guy charm. Koda loves to play with toys. Squeaky, bouncy, fluffy-if it's toy-shaped, it's already his best friend. He's also a huge fan of treats (who isn't?), which makes him highly motivated and an A+ student in the "snacks = happiness" school of learning. He may be shy at first, so don't be alarmed if he starts off in "observer mode." Give him a little time, a few treats, and some space, and you'll see his personality come out-slowly but surely, like a doggy plot twist. If children live in the home, we highly recommend 8+ and they must be present for interaction -Koda likes a proper introduction committee. Kids who can follow directions and respect boundaries will help this good boy feel safe and confident. If you're looking for a pup who's playful, a little bashful and extremely snack-motivated, Koda might just be the treat you've been waiting for.
At SDHS:
Koda has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. He is now ready for his new home!
