This little cutie is Bianca. She was born around 11/21/2025. Her mom, Bella looks like a Terrier mix with maybe some Chihuahua and is around 10 lbs. so we expect Bianca to be under 25 lbs full grown. Bianca is a very sweet, social and playful girl who loves to cuddle and play with siblings. Her nickname is "kissy girl" and she is the most outgoing puppy in the litter who loves to be held. Given her young age and the cold weather, Bianca has not started on housebreaking yet. Given her small size she would not be a good fit for a family with children under 5 years old. The Heart of America Humane Society is an all-volunteer, 501(c)3 non-profit organization helping to place shelter and foster animals into permanent homes in and around the greater Kansas City metro area.
Our goal is to save and improve the lives of Kansas City's homeless companion animals by promoting responsible pet ownership. The Heart of America Humane Society (HAHS) partners with the Lee's Summit Animal Shelter (Lee's Summit MO) and KCK Animal Services (Kansas City KS) to increase pet adoptions into responsible, permanent homes.

Our organization does not have a permanent facility or paid staff, so many of our adoptions take place at PetSmart stores and occasionally through other event venues. Some events raise awareness and bring in donations for our animal support efforts, while others help acknowledge and show appreciation for our own volunteers (who perform all duties outside of their regular jobs).
