Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there! I’m Allo, and I’m often told I’m just about the sweetest girl you’ll ever meet. I’m young, affectionate, and my absolute favorite thing in the world is being part of a family. Whether we’re hanging out in the yard or curled up together on the rug, I’m happiest when I’m close to my people.
I’ve really mastered the whole “house dog” lifestyle! I’m fully house trained, crate trained, and I do wonderfully when left out to roam — no mischief or destruction here. My crate is my cozy little den and a place where I feel safe and comfortable.
I’m a big fan of treats (who isn’t?), and I like to enjoy my special snacks in peace. Because of that, I do best being fed in my crate if there are other pets around — it helps me feel secure and keeps me relaxed at mealtime.
Socially, I’m a total lovebug. I enjoy the company of other dogs, adore kids, and I’m quite interested in cats too. Sometimes I can be a little eager to make friends, so I’d do best with confident, cat-savvy feline siblings who can set boundaries when needed.
I’m looking for a home that suits my gentle lifestyle — one with little to no stairs so I can move around comfortably and focus on the things I love most: companionship, comfort, and being spoiled. If you’re searching for a sweet-natured, loyal girl who will soak up every ounce of love you give her, I’d be so happy to be your Allo. 💛
**Allo will have a compassionate adoption, meaning no adoption fee.**
Allo was born with multiple deformities that, after consultation with three different veterinarians, have been confirmed as non-correctable. She is largely blind, and as she grows, even normal activities like running or playing can cause her discomfort. While we initially feared we might need to make an immediate and heartbreaking decision, Allo’s veterinary team has been able to establish a pain management plan that currently gives her a comfortable, good quality of life—and she is doing remarkably well.
After extensive vet consultations, thoughtful board discussions, and valuable input from her foster family, we have chosen to pursue a compassionate adoption for Allo. This means we are seeking a family who will love and cherish her for however long she has, while continuing her pain management care. When her pain can no longer be managed and her quality of life declines, her family will make the loving decision to let her go peacefully.
We do not know whether Allo’s journey will be measured in months or years—but we do know that she deserves to experience the safety, comfort, and unconditional love of a forever home for as long as she can 💛

Applications are submitted and reviewed against a pet bio that is prepared by the foster. This allows for a match of the family to the pet.
2.
Interview
Screening questions are completed to confirm match before meet and greet
3.
Meet the Pet
Dog up for adoption, the applicant and foster meet.
4.
Home Check
A virtual home visit along with 2 reference checks is done to confirm safe and suitable home (one reference is a vet if possible)
5.
Approve Application
A call with the applicant and adoption team is held to finalize, and then send contract.
6.
Sign Adoption Contract
Contract and addendum if needed is sent to the applicant.
7.
Pay Fee
After the adoption donation and contract are received, the adoption is considered final. Then pick up the new family member and take home
