Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Moiita: The Lovebug Looking for His Forever Lap
Hi, I'm Moiita, and I need you to know something important right away—I didn't do anything wrong. My family had to surrender me to Chicago Animal Control through no fault of my own, and while I don't understand why I can't go back home, I'm trying to stay positive and hopeful that my perfect person is out there looking for me.
What You Need to Know About Me:
I am 100% pure love. Seriously. I'm the kind of dog who thinks every person I meet is about to become my new best friend, and honestly? I'm usually right.
My Favorite Things:
Lap time: Don't let my size fool you—I'm a world-class lap dog who will happily curl up on you for hours
Kisses: I give them freely and often. Consider yourself warned (and loved)!
Making friends: I love everyone I encounter—people, dogs, you name it
Being close to you: I'm a velcro dog who just wants to be near my person
My Ideal Home:
I'm looking for someone who wants a constant companion and doesn't mind a dog who thinks personal space is overrated. I do great with other dogs, so if you have a pup at home, even better! I'm ready to share the love.
I'm friendly, affectionate, and so ready to be someone's everything again. I lost my home, but I didn't lose my ability to love—if anything, I have even more to give now.
Are you ready for unlimited cuddles and kisses?
Because I've been saving them all up just for you.
—Moiita

Our fees include a full medical exam by a veterinarian. This includes a Feline Leukemia and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) test for cats, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, deworming and Spay/Neuter. Dogs receive a Heartworm Check, Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, Canine Flu Vaccine, deworming, and Kennel Cough preventative. Our modest adoption fees do not cover the procedures and vet work that we provide the animals. We fundraise to make up the difference. Any ongoing medical needs that C.A.R.E. is aware of are explained fully, (including daily medicine costs), to the potential adopter, and become the responsibility of the adopter.
