My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Silas, a handsome new arrival with soft tabby-and-white markings, bright curious eyes, and the sweetest little tucked-paw pose when he is getting his bearings. Silas has a calm, confident charm that makes him easy to fall for, and he seems genuinely interested in the people around him.

Silas is very sweet and quietly affectionate, the kind of cat who will make you feel chosen when he leans in for pets or settles near you like he has always belonged there. If you are looking for a gentle companion with good manners and great vibes, Silas is ready to trade “new arrival” status for “beloved family member.”

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
