Meet Andy — Everyone’s Favorite, and He Knows It (Quietly)
Andy came to us in a way that still makes our hearts ache. He was severely anemic, painfully thin, and clearly exhausted by life outside — a life he was never meant to live. We don’t know how he ended up on the streets, but what we do know is this: Andy never lost his trust in people. Even at his weakest, he leaned into human hands with quiet hope, as if he knew that warmth, food, and love were all he had ever needed.
This boy is gratitude in cat form.
From the moment he was safe, Andy showed us exactly who he is — affectionate, gentle, and endlessly appreciative. Every meal feels like a gift to him. Every soft bed is a luxury. Every kind word or touch is met with purrs and soft eyes that seem to say thank you for choosing me.
With proper care, nourishment, and love, Andy has fully recovered — and somehow, he came out even sweeter. At the vet’s office, he’s a legend. Staff members light up when they see his name on the schedule. More than one has quietly claimed him as their favorite, and it’s easy to see why. Andy doesn’t demand attention; he receives it with calm grace, as if he’s just happy to be included.
His orange coat is plush and slightly curly, giving him a warm, teddy-bear softness that perfectly matches his personality. Andy is pure serenity. He’s easygoing, polite, and deeply affectionate — the kind of cat who settles into your life as if he’s always belonged there.
Andy loves people more than anything. He’ll come sit beside you, gently tap your shoulder with the softest paw, and politely ask for cuddles. He has different little meows for different requests, and once invited in, he melts into affection like it’s his favorite place in the world. He adores pets, kisses, and quiet conversations with his humans.
His happy places include:
Sun-soaked windows where he can nap peacefully
Soft blankets and fluffy beds for biscuit-making and purring himself to sleep
Being near his people — always close, never demanding
Andy gets along well with other cats and would be perfectly content sharing his space and sunshine. He’s not loud, not dramatic, not high-maintenance — just profoundly loving and grateful to be safe.
Andy is one of those rare cats who doesn’t just survive hardship — he transforms it into gentleness. He has a way of softening a room, of reminding you how powerful kindness can be.
If you’ve been waiting for a cat who will truly cherish his home, who will love you with quiet devotion and a full heart, Andy is ready. He’s waited long enough to be someone’s baby.
Andy is one of those rare cats who doesn’t just survive—he softens everyone around him. If you’re looking for a gentle soul with a remarkable story and a heart full of gratitude, Andy is ready to come home.
Andy is estimated to be 5 years old as of January 2026, he is neutered and fully vetted, with a clean healthy bill and blood work. He tested negative for FIV, Felv and heartworms.
