Nova is a little star who has already overcome a very rough start to life. As a newborn, he needed around the clock care and was placed with an experienced bottle feeder. There, he finally got the chance to grow strong, healthy, and happy. Now he’s thriving and showing everyone just how special he is. Nova is playful, affectionate, and incredibly cuddly. He loves to romp, chase toys, and then curl up for a good snuggle and a long nap. Because he was so young when he came into care, he will do best in a home with another friendly cat who can help teach him how to “cat" and continue his social development. With his sweet nature and bright personality, Nova is ready to shine in a loving home.

HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING:
1. Come in during adoption hours to apply and fill out an application completely. We have applications on site. Open adoption hours take place at 44 Worthington Road in Cranston, RI. We are open every Wednesday 3-7pm and Saturday 10am-2pm.
2. We require proof of homeownership (tax form, deed, mortgage statement) or landlord approval (a copy of your lease that clearly states you are allowed to have a dog, puppy, cat, or kitten OR written and signed consent from your landlord.
3. We require copies of up to date vet records for any current pets.
Helpful reminders:
*We do not do same day adoptions.
*Please bring the entire family in to meet the animal you are interested in.
*We will setup a meet and greet with your dog at a later date. PLEASE do not bring your dog with you when you come in to apply.

Unfortunately, due to past issues with landlords/housing/insurance, a restricted breed policy is in place for Bully breed/Pit Bull type dogs. This means that you must own your home and provide proof of homeownership to adopt a Bully breed/Pit Bull dog or puppy. While we understand that this may be an inconvenience, it is necessary to help reduce the number of devastated dogs being returned. We apologize for the inconvenience.
