Ellie is an adorable mixed-breed puppy estimated to be about 3.5–4 months old. She’s a confident, playful girl who approaches life with curiosity and enthusiasm.
Ellie loves tummy rubs, enjoys snuggling, and is happy to curl up when playtime is over. She’s doing very well with potty pad training, listens nicely for a puppy her age, and will also go outside when the weather cooperates.
When Ellie and her littermates were surrendered, we were told they might be a Corgi/Rottweiler mix. Based on their appearance, they seem to be small mixed-breed puppies, and like most mixes, their adult size and breed makeup are best guesses.
Ellie would do great in a home ready to continue her training and give her the structure, affection, and playtime every puppy needs. If you’re looking for a happy, confident pup who balances fun and cuddles, Ellie could be a wonderful addition to your family.
All of our dogs/pups are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines.
Adoption fee for all dogs/pups: $225.

Our goal is to save and improve the lives of Kansas City's homeless companion animals by promoting responsible pet ownership. The Heart of America Humane Society (HAHS) partners with the Lee's Summit Animal Shelter (Lee's Summit MO) and KCK Animal Services (Kansas City KS) to increase pet adoptions into responsible, permanent homes.

Some events raise awareness and bring in donations for our animal support efforts, while others help acknowledge and show appreciation for our own volunteers (who perform all duties outside of their regular jobs).
