My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Marlin! 🐟💙

This teeny little Chihuahua sweetheart is almost 3 months old and weighs just under 2 pounds — and yes, he is every bit as precious as that sounds! Marlin is a total love bug who’s ready to swim straight into your heart.

His favorite place to be? Curled up on your shoulder for cozy cuddles or snoozing peacefully in your lap. He’s the perfect mix of snuggly and playful. When he’s not soaking up affection, Marlin is busy having adorable puppy adventures with his toys — he even gathers them up and brings them into his kennel so he can relax with his little treasure pile. 🧸

Because Marlin is so tiny and delicate, he would do best in a home with other small, gentle dogs and older, respectful children who understand how careful they need to be with a pint-sized pup.

If you’re looking for a pocket-sized best friend with a huge heart, Marlin is your guy. 💕

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
