Hi, my name is Waffle. I’m a friendly, smart girl who’s just a little shy while I adjust to new surroundings. I enjoy being pet when I’m in the mood, love to play, and appreciate having my own space. I’m not a lap cat and I don’t love being picked up—I prefer to come to you on my own terms. When things get overwhelming, I’ll simply find a quiet place to relax. I can be timid around new people and children at first, but with patience and a calm environment, I do warm up. I’ve lived with another cat before and may be able to do so again with proper introductions. Right now, the shelter is a bit scary for me, and I’m looking for a quiet, understanding home where I can feel comfortable and confident again. If you’re patient and kind, I’d love the chance to show you my sweet side.
