Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Toggo is on a furcation and will be available for a meeting after February 8. Please email adopt@calgaryhumane.ca for further information!
Meet the sweet, shy, lovely Toggo, a big white puffball with a heart as big as he is! Toggo came to the shelter as his previous family could no longer provide the care he needed, and it`s been quite the stressful transition for him. That`s why a calm, quiet, and patient family would be the best fit for him so he can adjust at his own pace.
It`s when Toggo starts to feel safe and comfortable that you start to see his friendly, affectionate, and loyal personality start to take center stage! He can be a real suck for pets and will lean into you or even start to whine if he feels like he hasn`t received enough! Although Toggo was noted to be sociable and playful with other dogs (except for small dogs that bark a lot!), it`s unknown how he would do with cats or small animals in the home. Make sure that all introductions and interactions are supervised by an adult! It will also be important that Toggo`s new family is prepared for all of the grooming that he will need since he has a lot of especially long, fluffy white fur! But it can be way to give him some extra love and attention.
If you`ve been looking to a cloud with four legs to your home, and don`t mind that he can also be quite the scaredy cat, then come meet Toggo today!
Toggo is: - open to kids; older preferred - open to cats - open to dogs with successful intro

From our earliest beginning, Calgary Humane Society was more than a shelter. As Calgary’s first-established animal welfare organization, connecting the lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority.
Today, Calgary Humane Society (CHS) shelters almost 5,000 homeless animals each year. In 1922 we set out to help as many animals as we can and we will continue to do so by fostering the values of respect, compassion, commitment, teamwork, integrity and innovation.
Our mission is to help as many animals as we can.
Our vision is using innovative strategies to lead, inspire, and educate in the humane treatment of companion animals, fostering an enlightened community that consistently demonstrates respect and compassion for all animals.
Our dream is a community where animals are valued, humanely treated, and live enriched lives.
Calgary Humane Society is committed to creating a better tomorrow through education and collaboration.
