My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This sweet girl was found outside a Southeast Texas Tiki Bar dodging traffic when the owner swooped her up and gave her a fun Tiki culture name. Her owners have been searched for to no avail. She had to undergo a surgery to remove a mass, but she is overall healthy and happy.

Huliee is full of life and loves to snuggle. She is a lap dog to the T and wants to be around people. Do you have a place in your heart and home for her?To have your home considered for adoption, read about our adoption process or fees, and find out about interstate transport (dogs only), please visit our website.

Long Way Home makes no guarantees on breed--most animals we receive from shelters are mixed breeds. As long as they need rescue, that's what is most important to us.

More about this rescue

Long Way Home was created to provide the last stop for animals displaced from their homes, deemed "unadoptable" by other rescues, or that need a level of care their previous owners or other shelters are unable or unwilling to provide.
