Hello! My name is Adin and here is some info about me:
PHYSICAL INFO:
Breed: Jindo Mix
Age: 5 Months
Gender: Male
Weight: 8.8 lbs (4 kg)
Height: 57 cm (paws to top of my head)
Length: 35 cm (head to butt)
Current Location: S. KOREA
RESCUE STORY - I was rescued during a winterization volunteer trip to the Gimje City Shelter with Adogs. I was found trembling at the shelter, and they were worried I wouldn’t be able to make it through the cold winter, so they decided to rescue me and I thank my lucky stars for that!
TEMPERAMENT - I am said to be a very people-loving, gentle boy who enjoys human company and loves to seek affection. I warmly approach people and becomes especially sweet and expressive with familiar faces, happily staying close and following my select people around. My friendly and loving nature makes me an easy companion who brings warmth and joy wherever I go! You can see me excited about a human here!
ENERGY LEVEL – Medium to High. - I am very energetic and playful, constantly goofing around and playing with my friends!
GETS ALONG WITH:
Kids – Unknown. [Haven’t met children before so unsure how I will react]
• Dogs – Yes . I generally do well with other dogs and enjoy playful interactions. During playtime, I can sometimes get a bit overexcited, and play may become rougher if not monitored. I respond well when the other dog sets boundaries, so supervised play and gentle guidance help me have the best interactions! Here is a short video of me with dogs!
Cats – Unknown. [Haven’t met cats before so unsure how I will react]
PREY DRIVE - Unknown. I’m not too sure how I’ll react around squirrels/rabbits etc., so my adopter needs to be prepared and willing to train me through these behaviours, should they arise.
TRAINING:
Leash skills – Work in progress. I am still understanding what leash walking is. I try to chew on the leash and also try to walk myself! Here is a video of me!
I will need an adopter who is happy to work with me on my leash manners. A well-fitted harness and some dedicated leash training will help set me up for success!
House trained – Work in progress. Frequent potty breaks and positive reinforcement will help me learn housetraining in my new home :)
Please Note: WCP highly encourages adopters to do some research and training on their own before their dog arrives.
HEALTH NOTES:
I am spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. I will come to Canada with proof of all my vaccines and test records.
I will be tested for Heartworm etc. before flying to Canada.
NOTE: It is not uncommon for rescue dogs to require dental work/cleaning after they are adopted. West Coast Paws does not cover the costs of dental work and/or vet visits. These costs are the financial responsibility of the adopter.
ADOPTION FEE:
My adoption fee is $840 ($750.00 CAD + applicable taxes) which includes my airfare, if a flight volunteer is found directly to Vancouver.

The info included in each WCP bio is provided to us from the international rescuer. WCP does not have in-person access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions, although we ask for video proof of a dog's attributes wherever possible. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person(s) adopting them and the environment in which they live.
WCP is unable to guarantee the accuracy of a dogs age and/or breed. These are strictly "best guesses" based on veterinary exams and their educated estimates.
