Meet Tyson! 🐾💙

Tyson was found as a tiny, motherless puppy with his littermates in Laredo and has grown into such a sweet, lovable boy. Born around December 1, 2025, he got his name because he put up quite the “fight” during his early bottle feedings — a tiny champ from the start!

Tyson has an absolutely adorable face and soulful eyes that will melt your heart. He’s smart, gentle, and one of the more laid-back pups in the litter. While he enjoys romping and playing with his siblings, he also has a calm, loyal nature and loves being close to his people. His submissive, eager-to-please personality should make training a breeze. He’s great with other dogs and shows no food aggression.

We’re awaiting DNA results, but we suspect a heeler mix, with an estimated adult weight of 35–50 pounds. Heelers are known for being intelligent, loyal, and active companions who thrive with engaged families.

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
