My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Kaleen!

This silky black kitten was found outside by a kind neighbor who brought her in and showed her what love looks like. Because of that head start, Kaleen is a sweet, well-mannered girl who is officially ready for her forever home.

Kaleen is a bit of a "thinker." She likes to observe her surroundings before jumping into the middle of the action. She is a shy girl at first, but once you earn her trust, she is a total sweetheart. While she doesn’t have to be adopted with her sister, Marissa, the two of them are often found curled up in a "kitten pile" together. Having a buddy helps her feel brave!

Kaleen is spayed, up-to-date on FVRCP and Rabies vaccinations, and FIV and FeLV negative.

Kaleen is currently staying onsite at our Heartland Facility! Stop by during our open hours on Thursday 4pm-7pm, Friday 4pm-7pm, Saturday Noon-6pm or Sunday Noon-6pm to meet them! No appointment necessary.
