Neala (Declawed)'s Story

Meet Neala! DECLAWED

Neala is an 11-year-old grey and white Domestic Shorthair with a soft heart and an even softer personality. She came to the shelter with her housemates after her owner sadly passed away, and now she’s looking for a new forever home where she can feel safe and loved again.

This sweet girl is DECLAWED, very friendly, and truly enjoys human companionship. Neala gets along well with other cats and would be happy sharing her space with calm feline friends. Because of her gentle nature, she would do best in a home without dogs, where she can relax and enjoy a peaceful environment.

Neala has so much love to give and is ready to be a wonderful companion for someone looking for a calm, affectionate cat. Applications are now being accepted for Neala, and she can’t wait to meet her new family. 💕

More about this shelter

The Gloucester County Animal Shelter functions as an impoundment/adoption facility which temporarily houses lost, stray, unwanted or abandoned pets for the 24 municipalities in Gloucester County, until such time as they are reclaimed by their owner or adopted by a new family. The Shelter also provides a 24-hour emergency service for calls regarding animals that are sick, injured or posing an immediate threat to the public.

We have a very dedicated staff and volunteer core who work very hard to see that these homeless pets are given a second chance and placed in a proper homes. All animals are spayed/neutered at the time of their adoption and up to date on their age appropriate vaccinations, Heartworm tested (for dogs) or feline combination tested (for cats) and microchipped.
