MY RESCUE STORY
I was just a tiny puppy, about two months old, back in 2020 when I, along with my fivesiblings, was left at a shelter because our previous owner couldn’t take care of us.
Thanks to the kind people who rescued us, I was given a second chance at life. Now, I’m ready to start a new chapter of my life and find a loving forever home where I can be safe, happy, and part of a family.

MY PERSONALITY
Hello, my name is Pori! I am a small and adorable terrier with a gentle, shy nature. I may be timid, but I have a big heart, and I am friendly with people and even allow new friends to pet me! With time and patience, and of course love, I know that I will bloom and be the best friend you’re looking for!
MY SOCIAL SKILLS
· With People: I may be a little shy at first, but I can be pet and be held in your arms with a little bit of time, after we become friends!
· With Dogs: I say hello to dog friends, but I enjoy my personal space. However, I rely on my friends for comfort and support, and I am more relaxed with a friend around!
· With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown (Cat test can be requested to ensure the best fit)
ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY
I have moderate energy level – I like to be outside for my playtime and like to rest inside afterwards, all snuggled up! I’m not too familiar with walks, and may lie down if I get scared, so quiet walking paths are best. I can pull on the leash sometimes, but I usually follow my handler well.
TRAINING & HABITS
I don’t guard my food from people or dogs.
I may bark at strangers, but with time and gentle introduction, I can warm up to new people.
I am calm when I am in the kennel, but I am not too familiar with cars, and will need assistance getting in and out of the car.
I’m comfortable going to the bathroom both on indoor pads and outside.
MY IDEAL HOME
I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with:
