Sweetheart Poppy is a 6 year old, 12 lb Papillon mix who somehow ended up as a stray at the shelter. Despite that, she is a very happy, cheerful, and young at heart little girl.
Poppy does well with other dogs and loves being close to her people. She will happily “pop” up when she wants to be picked up and cuddled. In the evenings, she enjoys relaxing on her own chair or curling up in bed with her person.
She is house trained with a dog door, quiet in the home, and an easy companion. Poppy does not chew and is not destructive. The only time she gets vocal is during playful wrestling with her dog friends.
Poppy is still working on her leash skills and will benefit from some gentle practice, but her sweet nature and loving personality make her a delight.
If you are looking for a small, affectionate companion with a joyful spirit, Poppy may be the perfect addition to your home.
