My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What my friends at ACC say about me:

I'm an independent kitty who likes to do my own thing.

I am looking for a home with a patient person.

A volunteer writes: Sitting at the front and pushing his nose through the door, Syfy doesn't seem to have been privy to a whole lot that has happened to him recently. Left in a carrier in an apartment hallway with a note that helpfully shared his name, we don't have so much to go on. The note flew away in the process of getting him here and though that might seem prophetic, we won't let it be. In fact, we're committed to being part of the team effort that helps Syfy find his ground and turn things in the right direction. Admittedly it would be nice if Syfy were interested in becoming a more enthusiastic participant but as it stands, he can be grumbly and seems pretty unsure about our efforts to build a friendship. Syfy has a lot going for him - his curiosity and openness that sometimes seem to come out in spite of himself. Poking his nose out of his door for a chance to understand, to find a family, and to learn what it is exactly we've been asking of him, Syfy is really just hoping for a chance to meet you.
