Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This girl might have icy blue eyes and a frigid sounding name, but her heart is anything but cold!
Arctic is a 2 year old, 48lb, husky mix who was seen wandering as a stray for weeks before a lost dog rescue group was able to trap her and bring her to FVHA! This girl has been through a lot, but we`re delighted to say she is ready to begin a new chapter in life!
Arctic may be a bit shy when she first meets people but once she`s given enough time (and treats!) you`ll get to see her sweet, spunky side! She still has some puppy energy but she`s super smart and just needs someone who can teach her how to use all those brains.
Arctic has been determined to be not dog social here at shelter after some testing. She’s looking to be the `only child` where she can soak up all the love and attention for herself.
Due to Arctic`s unknown past, we aren`t sure how she would do with kids. Adoption staff is happy to advise you on slow introductions to your household.
Arctic is spayed, up-to-date on core vaccines, flea, tick, & heartworm prevention, and she is microchipped!
If you have questions about Arctic or our adoption process, please reach out to us at 920-733-1717 or adopt@foxvalleypets.org
