When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped!
What we know: 3 siblings transferred at approximately 1 year, 3 months old from Finney County Humane Society in Kansas (1M, 2F). Siblings were surrendered to the KS shelter in March 2025 and had still not been adopted through them by January 2026. They were set to be euthanized due to length of stay and were tagged to come to CPR the following day.
From the foster: Meet Tony “Spot”!
Spot is a sweet, affectionate boy who is learning all about home life after spending much of his time in a shelter — and he’s doing great! He’s a curious, smart pup who learned how to use the doggie door quickly and is continuing to work on his potty routine.
Spot is food-motivated and eager to learn. He already knows “sit” and “come,” walks well on a leash, and does best with consistent routines. He sleeps soundly in his kennel at night and is comfortable being crated while his family is away, even with activity going on nearby.
This loving boy enjoys being close to his people and is a big fan of snuggles. He has bonded closely with his female foster and is slowly gaining confidence around men with positive interactions and time.
Spot would love a home with another friendly dog to play with and help build his confidence. Because he is very interested in cats and struggles to give them space, a cat-free home would be best.
If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate dog who is ready to keep learning and growing with his family, Spot could be your perfect match.
