My Journey I was rescued from the streets and brought into a safe, quiet environment where I could begin adjusting to life indoors. New spaces can feel a little overwhelming at first, but each day I grow more confident as I learn that I’m safe and cared for.
My Social Life Other cats ? I do well with other cats, especially when introductions are slow and respectful. I may start off reserved in new situations, preferring to observe before joining in. Dogs ? Kids ?I haven’t had much experience with dogs or children yet, so a calm home with gentle, thoughtful introductions would be ideal for me.
My Personality I’m a gentle, thoughtful boy with a calm presence. I can be shy at first, but once I feel comfortable, I enjoy quiet companionship and being near my people. I have a sweet, steady nature and tend to show affection in subtle, meaningful ways.
I Enjoy… Peaceful environments where I can relax and feel secure Soft brushing and gentle pets once trust is built Cozy beds and elevated spots to observe from Calm company and predictable daily routines
I’m Not a Fan Of… Sudden movements, loud noises, or being rushed into interactions. I do best when given time and space to adjust at my own pace.
What Makes Me Special I’m a striking long-haired tuxedo with a fluffy coat and an impressive long white mustache that gives me a very distinguished look. My calm demeanor and elegant appearance make me easy to fall in love with.
My Perfect Home I’d thrive in a patient, loving home where I’m allowed to settle in gradually. With understanding and consistency, my sweet personality will continue to shine, and I’ll become a loyal, gentle companion.

Smittens isn’t just another cat rescue.
We are a coalition of volunteers with a spay/neuter mission, dedicated to helping both stray and owned animals in the greater San Diego area get fixed, receive veterinary care, and whatever else they may need! Smittens works with shelters and other rescues to route cats to proper vet care and eventual homes, and we take in stray cats who need help getting off the street. We also support TNR for feral cats, and assist cat and dog owners to get their own pets fixed and vaccinated at a low cost.
