My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Hi I am Dior! I was found outside in Dauphin all by myself when a Good Samaritan stopped and picked me up on a cold day! I am approximately 3 years old and fully vetted. I love to play with my dog siblings in my foster home. I also am learning how to fetch! I am a petite little gal, but my personality will fill your whole heart!

I am a type of poodle breed, but we aren't sure of my exact breed. My perfect home would be with a family that will allow me to play outside, go for walks and still snuggle up on the couch. I like kids, I like other dogs and I even like cats! I am completely house trained. I would love to meet you if you think I could be your furever companion!

I am spayed, up to date on my vaccines and microchipped. If you are interested in me, please apply for me at www.castawaycritters.org.

Additional adoption info

We offer an online adoption application at www.castwaycritters.org. We do check references, vet references, and housechecks. Once you are approved, you will be required to fill out an adoption agreement. Our animals have all been wormed, altered and vaccinated. Cats have been tested for FIV/FeLV. For more information, see our website at www.castawaycritters.org.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

All of our animals are in foster care so please complete an application at our website (www.castawaycritters.org) before meeting them. Completing an application does not obligate you to adopt; however, it is required. Applications are processed in the order received in an effort to find the best match possible for both the dog and the adopter.

Please also check out our events page on our website as fosters sometimes bring their available animals out to meet people!

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit rescue group that takes in stray, abandoned, and sick animals, giving them medical and foster care until available for adoption. We offer low cost spay/neuter clinics to the public and a special program called Operation CatNIP for pet cats of low income qualified individuals and feral cats, and assist in TNR for cats.
