My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet the Duck Litter!
💙💜♥️💕💛💚🧡🩷
This adorable crew of black lab mix puppies are ready to waddle straight into your heart.

Born on Thanksgiving, the Duck Litter includes Donald, Daffy, Daisy, Huey, Dewie, Louie, Della, and Glendora—with Donald and Daffy being the only boys, and the rest sweet, spunky girls.

These puppies got the very best start thanks to their incredibly resilient mama. She was rescued from a tough life as a stray, where she was vulnerable and often attacked by other dogs due to scarce resources. Thankfully, A Lab for Life stepped in just in time, bringing her to safety so she could give birth and raise her babies in comfort and care. Because of that, the Duck Litter has grown up feeling safe, loved, and confident.

True to their lab mix roots, these pups are playful, outgoing, and full of personality. They adore attention, go wild for toys, and love nothing more than romping around outside. Recently, they experienced snow for the first time—and it was a huge hit! Watching them bounce, pounce, and zoom through the drifts was pure joy.

If you’re looking for a sweet, confident puppy with a happy spirit and a heart full of love, one of these little ducks might be your perfect match. The puppies from the duck litter are available for adoption in New England, NY, NJ, and PA.

More about this rescue

A Lab for Life (ALL) provides a compassionate life-line to abandoned dogs that includes a safe haven, medical care by a licensed veterinarian, nutrition (food) and a fur-ever family through adoption. ALL promotes the humane treatment of animals in the community.

ALL was founded in July 2020 by a group of dog advocates in central Oklahoma and
Northeastern US after some had been volunteering with an out of state rescue for over 5 years. That experience solidified a local organization was needed. ALL formed to rescue as many stray, homeless and owner surrendered dogs as possible by partnering with many state-wide shelters and rescue operations. In addition to transferring homeless dogs from the shelters, fostering them in temporary homes and adopting them out, we also provide behavioral and medical resources to people who are considering surrendering their dog in an effort to keep the dog in their homes and out of the shelter/rescue system.
ALL operates under the 5 freedoms for animal welfare.
We are a brand new organization and welcome donations!
