Gummy Worm is an awesome 5-month old kitty who was brought to the HSOV on November 24, 2025 along with his equally awesome brother (Dirt Pudding) because their family had been displaced from their home and could no longer care for their beloved pets.
This handsome young man has a light brown short smooth coat in a tabby pattern, a long ringed tail, and an adorable chubby face with dark golden eyes, a brown velvet nose, and long white whiskers.
Gummy Worm was given vaccinations and Pyrantel wormer on November 24, 2025. He was given booster vaccines on December 11, 2025.
These photos of Gummy Worm were taken on January 31, 2026 when HSOV Kennel Tech Lauryn Hamilton accompanied Gummy Worm and his brother Dirt Pudding into our 'studio'. Both of these magnificent boys were in the height of their glory and were quite the entertainers. Gummy Worm has a charismatic, 'Type A' personality and was quite the playboy. He loved playing with the Valentine decor, the wicker basket, and tiny toy balls. Gummy Worm gave us his interpretation of the Yoga Cat Pose (which we had to admit was very impressive)!
Gummy Worm and Dirt Pudding have shared a large cage since the first day they entered our shelter and they are definitely a dynamic duo who entertain everyone (and each other). They are currently in a double-wide cage in The Jungle Room (where most of our adoptable cats are housed).
Gummy Worm will be neutered in the near future (tentatively on February 9, 2026) and will soon be ready to find his forever home. Naturally we'd love to see him adopted with his brother Dirt Pudding.
