Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Solene is a beautiful medium-haired buff and white kitten with an adorable bobtail and a soft, thoughtful expression. She came to us from a criminal neglect and hoarding case in Juneau County involving over 500 animals—an incredibly overwhelming environment that no kitten should ever experience.
Because of her past, Solene is understandably shy and cautious at first. However, with time to decompress in foster care, she has begun to open up and learn that people can be gentle, patient, and safe. Each day brings small but meaningful steps forward as her confidence slowly grows.
Solene would love to be adopted with her sister, Ziva, who provides comfort and familiarity, but she could also do well on her own in a home that already has another friendly cat. Having a feline companion helps her feel more secure and encourages her continued progress.
Solene is a sensitive, sweet soul who will thrive in a calm, loving home willing to let her set the pace. With patience and compassion, she will reward her future family with quiet trust, gentle affection, and the joy of watching her truly blossom. 💛✨
All our cats are spayed/neutered, dewormed, FELV tested, microchipped, receive prevention while in our care, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. If you're interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website at https://www.sftsrescue.org/adoptable-cats

Our adoption process prioritizes accessibility, equality, and inclusivity. An application can be completed online or in person, ensuring accessibility for all potential adopters. Additionally, our application is available in Spanish to cater to a diverse range of applicants.
Once an application is submitted and approved, we facilitate adoption meet-and-greets on-site at our shelter's adoption center. This allows potential adopters to interact with the animals they are interested in and make informed decisions about their adoption.
Overall, our adoption program is designed to make the process as smooth and inclusive as possible, ensuring that each animal finds a loving and permanent home.
