Hi there, my name is Asami! I'm a 1-year-old female Labrador Retriever. I am current on my vaccines, and soon to be heartworm tested, spayed, and microchipped.
3 words that describe me: Shy, Friendly, Curious
Things staff and volunteers have to say about me: I came into CRHS with 13 other labs. We were all kept outside in the cold with no food or water. Despite my rough beginnings I have a GREAT personality! I can be shy at first, so I would do best with slow and calm introductions. Once I know you I'll be your best friend forever!
Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10): 6 or 7/10
Housetraining Status: I am working on it. Lots of praise and a consistent schedule will help me learn!
I should do well in a home: I should do well with children of all ages given proper supervision. I should do well with other dogs given proper introductions and time to adjust. I have never seen a cat before.
My favorite activities are: Playing with toys, playing with Korra, and getting all the affection I can get!

We are located at 911 Critter Court in Onalaska (right behind the Gundersen Lutheran Clinic). Animal visitation hours are from 1:00pm - 4:00pm Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. Office hours are Monday-Friday 9-5p, Saturday and Sunday 1-5p.
