Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**Ivy is in our special medical adoption program which provides additional counseling on her medical care. If you are interested in Ivy, please complete an adopter's profile at parl.org and email clinic@parl.org. Ivy is not available for walk-in meets or adoption, potential adopters are required to communicate with clinic team before meeting Ivy**
Ivy is a sweet, young, and absolutely precious Pomeranian. She's got a silly personality and the only thing she likes more than her toys are people and other dogs. Ivy is friendly and has done well with children in the past. She is still working on her house training but she is a smart little girl and will likely figure it out once she's found a patient person to keep her on a consist potty break schedule. Ivy is always bouncing and playful which does hide the fact that she is still recovering from a leg injury. Ivy has a fractured left tibia that is in the process of healing. Any pain is being managed with medication and she does have good mobility still, but adopters should be committed to following up with their vet within 2 weeks of adoption to make sure she stays on the right track.

The first step in our adoption process is to submit an adopter profile through our website. We then encourage you to visit PARL at 34 Elbow Street and get to know the animals we have available. You do not need an appointment, and we invite you to visit us often. PARL’s goal is to assist you in finding your best match for a lifelong companion.
When you arrive, you’ll sign PARL’s visitor log, and staff will direct you to PARL’s cat rooms, small animal spaces, or dog kennels (depending on your preference.) We encourage you to spend time outside with the dogs, or petting our cats and small animals. Please ask questions -- that's why we're here.
If you don't find what you are looking for the first time, please come see us again! Chances are that we will have some new furry friends available for adoption, and one of them might be purr-fect for you!
