My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How this pet arrived:
T-Bone was brought in by a community member on January 31, 2026.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Meet T-Bone, a playful, fun-loving pup with a big personality and an even bigger zest for life! This little goofball is always on the move, chasing adventures with tail-wagging enthusiasm and a curious nose that just can't stay out of trouble (the cute kind, of course). From zoomies to toy time, T-Bone's antics are guaranteed to keep the laughs coming all day long-right up until it's time to crash for a well-earned nap. With boundless energy, irresistible charm, and a heart as big as his name, T-Bone lives for playtime, belly rubs, and being the life of the party. But his favorite thing of all? Sinking into a home and sharing endless cuddles, kisses, and happy moments. This pup is ready to be the prime cut of your heart!

At SDHS:
T-Bone has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. He is now ready for adoption!

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
