Meet Randy! This boy is not only adorable but also enjoys cuddling in your lap and snoozing in his crate. He keeps his crate clean and is learning the ropes of house training.

Randy is a charming 2-year-old longish haired Dachshund mix weighing about 21 pounds, and hes full of sweet personality. With his slightly longer coat, longer body, and expressive face, Randy shows off classic Dachshund traits, paired with the sturdiness of a small mixed breed.

This boy loves attention and would love to be the only pet in his home. He is good with dogs socially and did well dogs in his foster home but long term really loves all the attention from his people.

He does well on house training when taken out on a schedule and is excited to family to call his own

Our adoption process takes several steps and cannot be completed in one day. All of our volunteers work full time and assist the rescue in their spare time. Please allow 2-3 business days for a response.

* Applicants must be willing to make a ten plus year commitment to their new family member.

* Applicants must commit to daily exercise, walks, trips to the dog park or play in the back yard. A well exercised dog is a happy well behaved dog!

* Applicants living in a rental property must provide proof of pet policy from landlord.

* Applicants must provide a veterinarian reference and if there are existing dogs in the household. All pets must be spayed/neutered and current on all shots and heartworm medication.

*Please allow at least a 7-14 day adjustment period for your new dog. Rescue dogs go thru a lot of changes and need a few days to get used to their new surroundings and adjust. Adopting a dog should be a serious commitment, so please be willing to work out the kinks. Our dogs aren't perfect but with proper training and guidance they make awesome, loving pets.

*Our adoption fees vary based on the age and medical needs of the dogs.
