My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Francesca is a stunning 2-year-old domestic longhair who was adopted from the Humane Society as a kitten. She’s fully up to date on vaccinations and just had her annual vet checkup a couple months ago.

Francesca is the life of the party — very chatty and loves to “talk” with her humans. She currently lives in a quiet home with no kids or other pets. She has briefly been around dogs but not extensively. She is strictly an indoor cat.

She may be shy when first meeting new people and needs a little time to warm up, but once she trusts you she becomes incredibly affectionate. She loves to lay beside you, enjoys belly rubs, sleeps next to you at night, and will happily follow you around the house. She isn’t very food-motivated, but she absolutely loves toys and climbing.

Francesca is a loyal, loving companion who thrives on attention and companionship. Due to a change in work/life balance, I can no longer give her the time she deserves, and I’m hoping to find a home where she’ll receive plenty of love and interaction. Francesca lives iin Portland with her owner and her rehoming fee is $100.  She is an indoor only cat.

Adoptable cats and kittens are shown on our website with detailed profiles and pictures. Potential adopters must submit an adoption application for review and evaluation.

We require that adopted cats be mainly indoor cats and no declawing is allowed. Adopters must be over 21 years old and sign a contract that lists out his/her responsibility as the cat's owner.

More about this rescue

Cat's Cradle Rescue keeps cats out of shelters by offering an alternative to a cage - we are a no-kill FOSTER-HOME BASED rescue group that welcomes cats to our home environments as they await adoption.

Why Foster Care? Does your new kitty like children? Does she play with dogs or find other felines too uncomfortable to be around? Does he have consistent litter-box manners? Does he want to cuddle or perhaps his comfort zone is to be more independent. Many life-factors influence cat behavior and while genetics plays a role, we know that human touch, kindness, nurturing and consistency of care are non-negotiable requirements. We provide all of this.
