My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Blue: Your Future Best Friend is Waiting

Feeling blue? Meet Blue, the soulful pup ready to brighten your whole world.

Blue is a gentle spirit who is still learning that the world can be a kind, safe place. He hasn’t always known the warmth of a loving hand, and his past has left him a bit cautious. Because of this, he can be a little avoidant at first, he’s a `slow-burn` kind of guy who likes to observe from a distance before deciding you’re his person. But once that wall comes down? You’re in for a lifetime of devotion.

He’s a crate-training pro and is working hard on his potty training. Since he was only recently neutered, his hormones occasionally lead him to mark his territory. However, with a steady routine and a little patience, he’s quickly learning the `house rules.`

He has been a true gentleman when meeting calm dogs at the shelter. While his history with cats is a mystery, he’s shown he can be a great companion for respectful children who won’t be intimidated by his size.

Blue isn`t looking for just any house; he’s looking for a sanctuary. He needs a family that understands that trust is earned, not given. He flourishes with
1.Structure: A predictable routine helps him feel secure.
2.Patience: Giving him the space to come to you on his own terms.
3.Playtime: Once he feels safe, his lively, goofy personality truly shines!

In return, you won’t just get a pet, you’ll get a loyal shadow and the incredible reward of watching a brave soul blossom. Blue is ready to leave his past behind and grow right alongside you.

Blue is neutered and has received core vaccinations (bordetella, canine distemper, rabies), flea + tick preventative, has been dewormed, and is microchipped.
