My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Luna, surrendered to the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 2/5. Reason for surrender was that her family was moving. She weighs 55 pounds, is about 5 years old and is spayed. Dog Scanner app suggests the following in her breed mix: American Pibull terrier, English Pointer mix. Owners reported she lived with and was ok with children, dogs and cats. She enjoyed being in the yard and did her business upon entering the yard. She showed off her athleticism by climbing up and down on the play equipment. She is cautiously friendly and was OK with being petted and loved on. While in the meet and greet room, she was somewhat restless and would pace the room. We will spend time with her and help her to feel more relaxed, confident, and trusting and will do our best to find her a wonderful home in which she will be loved and cherished. It appears as though she has not had the best of care and has lived as an outside dog. This needs to change so that she can be an important part of her new family, socializing and bonding with them as an inside dog. This is the life that every dog deserves
