My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Apple Pie is as sweet as her name and will make your heart feel as warm as a pie fresh out of the oven! She is a goofy girl who loves humans! She has met both dogs and cats while in a foster home and did well. She walks with the grace of a baby horse, she dips her long ears in water when she drinks it, and she is prepared to be the love of your life. Come meet her today!

Her adoption fee is waived as part of our Staff Favorite program! Megan picked her because Apple Pie was a wonderful houseguest during the snowstorm and was so sweet and funny!

More about this shelter

Richmond Animal League (RAL) is committed to saving lives by giving hope, help, and loving homes to animals in need. Our vision: All cats and dogs are in a loving home with access to the support they need to thrive.

RAL has been committed to saving the lives of animals and finding loving homes for pets for over 45 years. Since 1979, we’ve worked with area shelters to provide temporary housing, medical treatment, vaccinations, spay/neuter, and loving care to tens of thousands of pets who were then adopted into new homes.
