My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kronk is a sweet, handsome husky boy who's ready to fill your home with love, laughter, and plenty of fluff. With his gentle nature and charming personality, Kronk has a way of making everyone around him smile. He has lived with older children before and did wonderfully, making him a great fit for a family looking for a loyal and affectionate companion.

Kronk would likely do best as the only animal in the home, where he can soak up all the love and attention for himself and truly shine as the center of your world. This prince of a pup is eager for fun adventures-whether that means exploring the outdoors, going for walks, or just relaxing at home being adored. He thrives when he's doted on (as he deserves!) and enjoys learning about life through positive reinforcement and encouragement.

If you're looking for a loving, adventure-ready husky who's ready to be your one and only, Kronk may be the perfect match for you. 💙🐾

The BC SPCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in British Columbia. Through its locations and operations across the province the BC SPCA provides emergency medical care and sheltering for more than 37,000 animals each year. The society also conducts more than 4,600 cruelty investigations and provides a wide range of advocacy and education programs for domestic, farm and wild animals through its Provincial Office.

Our mission, vision and charter is at the heart of all we do to rescue, protect and care for animals. It is also the driving force behind our animal welfare and education programs.

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

1. Freedom from hunger and thirst

2. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease

3. Freedom from distress

4. Freedom from discomfort

5. Freedom to express behaviours that promote well-being.
