My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Freya, our newest rescue gal with a farm-girl past and a heart full of love. She is fostered in the Fort Worth area and learning from a mentor male pyrenees in the home.

Freya was living on a farm with goats (yes, goats 🐐), and through no fault of her own, her previous owners weren’t able to get the support needed to manage a Guardian breed. Now she’s trading pasture life for her next big adventure: becoming a beloved family companion!

She’s incredibly sweet, gentle, and delightfully submissive—her favorite way to say “please like me” is by rolling over to proudly offer her tummy for rubs. We’re excited to watch Freya settle into home life and can’t wait to share updates as she blossoms.

Think Freya might be your perfect match?
