Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Pinhead Larry — the brother, the legend, the… slightly less aerodynamic thinker of the duo.
Where Dirty Dan is a hulking loaf of mystery, Pinhead Larry is the enthusiastic sidekick who definitely ran into a screen door once and decided it was the door’s fault. His head is not actually a pin. It is a perfectly normal head containing exactly three very hardworking brain cells that take turns being in charge.
Larry is the kind of cat who: • Falls off the couch but acts like he meant to do it • Chases invisible things with Olympic-level commitment • Gets startled by his own tail at least twice a day • Purrs like a malfunctioning lawn mower
He is long, a little goofy looking, and permanently surprised by the world. If Dirty Dan is the wise wizard, Pinhead Larry is the apprentice who accidentally turned the broom into a frog.
Personality breakdown: • 60% chaos • 30% cuddle bug • 10% elevator music playing behind the eyes
Larry LOVES attention. He wants to be involved in everything you do — folding laundry, typing emails, breathing. Privacy? Never heard of it. He will headbutt you with the force of a tiny wrecking ball and then immediately demand praise for his excellent work.
Despite the name, Pinhead Larry is sweet, affectionate, and endlessly entertaining. He’s the kind of cat who makes guests say, “What… is he doing?” at least once per visit. If you’re looking for a cat with elegance and poise, Larry is not that cat.
But if you want a lovable little goofball who will fill your house with laughter, confusion, and unexpected acrobatics — Pinhead Larry is ready to report for duty.More information? Call Marion Area Humane Society at 740-389-6548 or email at manager@mahspets.org

More about this shelter
Marion Area Humane Society is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization incorporated in 1967 under ORC 1717. We strive to educate, assist and protect the animals of the Marion area. Since 1986 have operated a shelter to provide a humane environment for homeless animals. In 2011 several generous donors and grants made it possible for a shelter renovation and addition of a separate intake section. MAHS operates a open-admissions shelter with a guilt and fee free surrender policy, to encourage owners who can not properly care or maintain proper living conditions for their pets to do the best thing for the pet. MAHS also provides humane investigations and a spay/neuter voucher program for Marion county.
