My name is Sora!

Sora is the cutest little Schipperke pup. He is 11 months old and weighs just 7 lbs. His former owners bought him from a breeder and then surrendered him to the vet clinic to be euthanized when it was found he was sick. We couldn’t let that happen. Sora needed life saving liver shunt surgery down at K-State and is still recovering in his foster home. More details to come.

We do not have a facility. All of our animals are in volunteer foster homes. Once an application is pre-approved (contingent upon a home check) we will contact applicants that are a good match and set up a time for a meet. At that time we are happy to answer all of your questions. No inquiries prior to that please. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals. We are a state licensed, 501c3 nonprofit rescue and the adoption donation may be tax deductible for you.  Thank you for choosing adoption!!
