My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mangle is a beautiful female kitten who was brought to the HSOV on September 29, 2025 by a Good Samaritan who found her at the Colonial Square Apartments in Belpre Ohio without a mother or siblings in sight.

Mangle was estimated to have been 10-weeks old at that time. She was malnourished and needed treatments for parasites (worms and fleas), so one of our amazing HSOV kennel techs offered her the hospitality of her home where Mangle could receive the care she needed.

This little beauty has a white short smooth coat with black markings, a long black tail, and an adorable symmetrically-marked face with golden eyes, a pink nose, and long white whiskers.

Mangle was given vaccinations, Drontal wormer, and flea treatment on September 30, 2025.

Mangle has a sweet, rather shy. personality. While she was in her wonderful foster home, Mangle made the acquaintance of another small kitten (Sardines), and they quickly became best friends.

Mangle and Sardines were returned to HSOV in mid-January 2026, and they are continuing to share a large cage so that they may provide comfort/security and companionship for one another. We have listed them as a bonded pair sine we feel that it is in their best interest to be adopted together.

Mangle and Sardines will be spayed in the near future (tentatively on February 9, 2026) and will be ready to find a loving home.
