Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Nicole may be a senior gal, but she’s still got plenty of gentle pep in her step
At 10 years old and just 19 pounds, this little lady is the perfect compact companion. She does have a bit of weakness in her hind legs, but she still gets around just fine and enjoys taking in the world at her own pace. Nicole walks nicely on a leash and loves puttering around a yard, sniffing all the good smells and enjoying the fresh air. Because of her mobility, Nicole would do best in a home without stairs. She’s not a big fan of being carried right now, but once she’s settled into a loving home and feels safe and comfortable with her people, that may change. Nicole is looking for a calm, cozy place where she can enjoy her golden years with someone who appreciates the sweet, quiet love that only a senior dog can give. If you’ve got a soft spot for the gentle souls, Nicole might just be your girl

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilcotx.gov.
In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626.
Interested in fostering a dog in need? Join our foster team at www.wilcotx.gov/390/Fostering and click on `Foster Questionnaire.`
Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours-giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.
We always welcome your dogs to come and meet our dogs, too! We`ll see you soon at either location!
