Meet Sophia! Amazing 2 year old mama of 9 beautiful pups who is house trained, good with dogs and cats and has amazing manners.

Sophia is described as her foster mom as a dream come true! She is completely house broken, gets along with other dogs and cats and is a gentle and quiet soul. Sophia can be a bit shy but after a short stay with her foster she is now a velcro dog that follows her humans around. Her dream home is one where her new family knows she needs time to build trust and will giver her that time to get her bearings.

She gets along with kids but younger children may be too much energy for her. Sophia is good in the car but needs a little motivation to get and out and is great on the leash once she knows and understands its time for a walk.

This sweet girl will make an amazing addition to any home that is willing to give her time to settle in.

Our adoption process takes several steps and cannot be completed in one day. All of our volunteers work full time and assist the rescue in their spare time. Please allow 2-3 business days for a response.

* Applicants must be willing to make a ten plus year commitment to their new family member.

* Applicants must commit to daily exercise, walks, trips to the dog park or play in the back yard. A well exercised dog is a happy well behaved dog!

* Applicants living in a rental property must provide proof of pet policy from landlord.

* Applicants must provide a veterinarian reference and if there are existing dogs in the household. All pets must be spayed/neutered and current on all shots and heartworm medication.

*Please allow at least a 7-14 day adjustment period for your new dog. Rescue dogs go thru a lot of changes and need a few days to get used to their new surroundings and adjust. Adopting a dog should be a serious commitment, so please be willing to work out the kinks. Our dogs aren't perfect but with proper training and guidance they make awesome, loving pets.

*Our adoption fees vary based on the age and medical needs of the dogs.
