My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Princess!
This black beauty with her stunning amber eyes has blossomed into an absolute angel. At around 2 years old and medium-sized, Princess is the perfect blend of playful and loving.

She enjoys the company of other dogs, but what she truly longs for is a family or companion who will cherish her and give her the best life possible.

Princess is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and microchipped—ready to begin her happily ever after. Could you be the one to give this sweet girl her royal treatment?

More about this rescue

Welcome to Murray County Humane Society!

Murray County Humane Society is a 100% volunteer-run, GA-licensed 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue based in rural North Georgia. Our mission is to provide second chances to animals in need by assisting with owner surrenders and rescuing shelter pets that might otherwise face euthanasia.

Every animal in our care receives essential veterinary care, vaccinations, and spay/neuter services before being matched with a loving, qualified family. Through compassion, dedication, and community support, we work to give each animal the opportunity to live a safe and happy life.
