Valerie is a certified snuggle monster with one very important condition for adoption: sleeping in your bed is non-negotiable. She takes her nighttime cuddles seriously and believes humans are best used as pillows. At just six months old, Valerie has already decided that closeness is the best part of life.
She found herself homeless far too young after going into her first heat and being left on the streets just as winter was closing in. Despite that rough start, Valerie’s trust in people is unwavering. She is affectionate, easygoing, and completely content being scooped up and held like the precious baby she knows she is.
Valerie is young and playful, always ready for a game or a burst of kitten energy, but she balances it beautifully with her love of cuddles. She’s wonderfully non reactive to new feline companions and would do great in a home with other cats or as a devoted sidekick to her human.
And then there’s her look. Valerie is always dressed for success in her bunny soft tuxedo, polished, classic, and impossibly cute. Whether she’s zooming through the room or curled up against you, she somehow manages to look elegant at all times.
Valerie is ready for a home where she can play, cuddle, sleep under the covers, and finally feel safe for good. If you’re looking for a loving, social kitten who wants to be part of every moment, especially bedtime, Valerie is waiting.

Whiskered Away is a small, volunteer-run 501(c)(3) rescue based in Philadelphia. Founded in 2026 by longtime animal advocates, we focus on Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), care for community cats, ethical rescue, and education. We started because we saw gaps in support for both animals and the people caring for them. We are small but mighty, growing intentionally, and always in need of volunteers, fosters, and donations to keep this work going.
